Vineyard Express Weekend Getaway Package

Millbrook Vineyards & Winery announces the 3rd annual launch of their Vineyard Express weekend getaway package - an exclusive round trip escape to Hudson Valley Wine Country. Millbrook, voted “Best Hudson Valley Winery” by readers of Hudson Valley Magazine for 18 consecutive years, is offering a shuttle service between the winery and the Poughkeepsie train station for wine lovers traveling via Metro-North from NYC Grand Central Terminal. The Vineyard Express operates on Saturdays and Sundays through October 27, 2013.

Many New Yorkers have long been burdened by the lack of transportation options to local wineries. Millbrook’s Vineyard Express offers NYC residents an option to escape to Hudson Valley wine country with door to door service from the Poughkeepsie train station.

The Vineyard Express will meet the Hudson Line’s 9:44AM and 11:44AM departure trains from Grand Central Terminal at the front of the Poughkeepsie train station at 11:40AM and 1:35PM. The quick shuttle trip to Millbrook will allow guests approximately three hours to enjoy a winery tour and wine tasting, lunch at the Vineyard Grille, a walk along the Vineyard Trail to take in the views of the Catskill Mountains, or simply relax in the picnic area along their three beautiful lakes. In addition, guests who purchase six bottles of wine or more will also enjoy free shipping of their wine back to their home or office.
