The Bardavon 944-seat theater in Poughkeepsie is the oldest continuously operating theater in the state, one of the oldest in the country, and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. The 1510-seat Ulster Performing Arts Center is also a National Register property built in Kingston in 1927.
The Richard B. Fisher Center for the Performing Arts at Bard College is a performance hall located in the Hudson Valley of Annandale-on-Hudson, Dutchess County, New York. The center provides audiences with performances and programs in orchestral, chamber, and jazz music, and in theater, dance, and opera.

RiverWinds Gallery at 172 Main Street, Beacon, NY is presenting “Timeless Greece,” photos by Mary Ann Glass and Christine Irvin. In this exhibit, the two photographers turn their lenses on the Greece that was and the Greece that continues. The Artists' Opening is January 13, from 5-8 pm.
Mary Ann Glass’ photos have been described as spiritual and sensual, serious and elegant. She is a co-owner of RiverWinds Gallery, the longest-running gallery in Beacon NY. She has studied with photographers such as Eric Lindbloom, Joel Meyerowitz, Joyce Tenneson and Dan McCormack. . She has been teaching iPhoneography Workshops for the last 3 years at various galleries and schools in the Hudson Valley. Christine Irvin, of Stamford, CT., has been a photographer and printmaker for the past 40 years. She studiedat the School of Visual Arts, the International Center for Photography, Bob Blackburn’s The Printmaking Workshop in New York City and at the Skopelos Works on Paper Workshop in Greece. She has directed the Stamford Art Association and Townhouse Gallery for the past 20 years and created the ongoing “Art at the Ferguson” exhibit series at Ferguson Library in Stamford, Ct. Additionally in 2013 she co-founded a fashion collection, The Alloro Collection, (www.allorocollection.com)
