Dutchess County is located at the center of New York’s beautiful and historic Hudson River Valley. Just 90 miles south of Albany and 80 miles north of Manhattan, New York City. Dutchess County renowned for historic landmarks (including the home and museum of Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Eleanor Roosevelt’s Val-Kill retreat and the Samuel Morse estate), the Walkway Over the Hudson, scenic hiking and biking trails, multiple educational institutions including Vassar and Marist Colleges and the Culinary Institute of America, restaurants, festivals and more.

Dutchess houses many miles along majestic Hudson River and easily accessible by public transportation. Outdoor shopping at the Dutchess County Fair and shopping malls, movie theaters, an ice skating rink and other recreational activities are within a short drive.
